My practice currently focuses on transactional matters, construction contracts and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining the firm, I represented plaintiffs in class actions under the federal securities laws and state shareholder and corporate governance laws. I also served as General Counsel for a healthcare company, where I provided strategic legal advice to management and recommended proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
I graduated magna cum laude from Brandeis University and studied at the London School of Economics for a year. I received my Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School, where I was the Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Journal of International and Comparative Law. I also attended Duke University School of Law, where I was a visiting Staff Editor of the Duke Journal of Comparative and International Law. I am admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
Additionally, I serve as the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer for School Group, a non-profit organization using peer-to-peer e-learning, where I was recently the recipient of the President’s Volunteer Services Award. I also provide pro bono civil legal services to low-income individuals through the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service.
