My practice focuses on complex business litigation and corporate governance disputes. As an experienced litigator, I have represented clients before federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels, and I have gained meaningful experience representing companies, owners, partners, and officers in connection with allegations of breach of contract, negligence, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and civil conspiracy. In addition to navigating the trial process, when appropriate I work to reach a resolution through alternative means, including arbitration, mediation, or an amicable settlement, always with an eye towards achieving optimal results for the client while avoiding unnecessary costs.
In addition, I have handled cases involving construction disputes and mechanic’s liens, employment disputes, consumer claims in the aviation sector under contracts of carriage, and real estate disputes involving financial service providers’ interests pursuant to deeds of trust, appointments of substitute trustee, and other instruments.
I received my law degree from The George Washington University Law School, and my bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia. I am admitted to practice in Virginia. A native of Fredericksburg, Virginia, I have lived in Washington, DC for over a decade and, as an avid runner, am still discovering new streets of the city to explore.
